About SalsacalientitaSalsa Calientita has been around for sometime.
Actually since January 2000, we have worked with other Salsa Clubs in the Berkshire area. Then the very successful Grand Salsa Weekends, where we teamed up with Jane Hollis and worked as part of the Salsa Promotions team, as event organisers for the Salsa Weekends. |
Where did the name Salsa Calientita come from?
Now that is an interesting question. Well the name came from a Secretary I worked with her name was Racquel Claxton. What does Calientita mean, well for that really we need Raquel she explained it was like a pet name for Caliente. Caliente meaning hot and spicy, Calientita meaning not too hot or too spicy, so Salsa Just right, well that was her transalation, sounds good to us. Who built this website? Well I wish it was me, but no I must admit it was a very good friend of mine Lee Williams. |
